Typhoon "Sanba"

Today big typhoon Sanba attacked Korea. Maybe in morning Sanba attacked southern part, like 남해,부산, and so on. So every elementary and middle school in 경상남도 had temporary closure of school.(Me too><)
So many people stick tape or newspapers on their windows. But unfortunately some people's windows were broken because of strong wind. So good luck! Don't get hurt!(Even though Sanba passed here!)

What I learned from 27 days in GLPS

I spent my whole summer vacation in GLPS. Many of my friends said I’m really unlucky, because I should study even if it’s vacation. But I don’t think so. I think I’m really lucky girl. Because I learned many things and felt many things from GLPS 18^th. I learned many things not only from our teachers and P.As, but also from my friends. Well, to be honest I was a really normal girl among them. I’m not special or outstanding than others. So at first I was really disappointed. I was really sad and angry to myself. Before I join the GLPS, I thought that I am really special girl and outstanding than others. However I was absolutely wrong. But because I’m a normal girl, I could learn many things and feel more than others. Let me talk about what I learned and felt from 27days in GLPS.

 First, I’m going to talk about my classmates, roommates and my friends. Well, my friends are little bit special. My classmate Andrew, is a mix blood boy. His father is American and his mother is Korean. He is younger than me so he is really cute. But he helps me a lot. When I tried to talk with him, I should talk in English. Because Andrew can’t speak Korean really well. So he taught me many things. ^^ He was a nice student. Also my friend Yoo Jin!! She is also mix blood girl. Her father is mix blood, so she is mix blood, too! She is my roomate’s classmate, and my classmate’s roommate. So I became a friend with her. She is living in America. She helped me a lot to make many friends. Thanks Yoo Jin!! Next, my roommates!! They are my nice friend. I think we can’t forget each other forever. We helped each other a lot and be a nice friend to each other. We always cheer up each other and play together. When I stay with my roommates, it was really comfortable and fun. Because we could understand each other really well. Why? Because we stay with each other all day long. I’m sure that we know each other really well more than anyone. From my friends I learned that how to talk with my heart to others and how to be a nice friend and make nice friends. Thanks to my friends to cheer me up a lot during GLPS!!!

I learned many things from my P.As. All of them graduated KMLA. So they are all smart and went to nice universities, such as Yale, Haverd, Oxford, S.K.Y and so on. At first I thought that all P.As might be really boring people. Because everyone said that students in KMLA are all smart and succeed. So I thought that they study all the time and don’t know how to enjoy their life. But it was my big mistake. All P.As know how to enjoy their life and they seem like they are really happy, even more than others. And they are really good people. When they talk to us, they talk not with their brain, with their heart. We had our individual consultation with our class P.As, and our 1^st class P.A was D.J (Dong joon Park). He was the most popular P.A, because he was cool and he told us with his heart. So he was a really nice person to talk with. In individual consultation time, he told me that please let him know about my trouble. So I said that my life in GLPS is fun, but I think 2 girls hate me. Then DJ said don’t be afraid by them. If I have trouble with them he will help me. So I was really thanks to him. He was nice and cool teacher to me. Not only DJ, but also I learned many things from my 2^nd class P.A, Sang Yong. He was a friend of DJ, and he was our 2^nd class P.A, because DJ went to America for his university. But, Sang Yong P.A was nice, too. Well, every P.As in GLPS went to nice university. Also Sang Yong P.A. But he is special. He is a student of Seoul national university, and he is the prime minister of Seoul national university!!! So I asked him, “ Did you studied well, when you were a student of KMLA?” and he answered, “Yes.^^” And he told me many things about KMLA, because I said I want to go to KMLA when I grow up. He said KMLA is really nice place to go. Many people think that life in KMLA might be boring, but it is not. Most students in KMLA enjoy their life in KMLA and make nice memories. So I could learn many things about KMLA, and they know how to talk with others with their heart. Also I learned other things about P.As. It is that they know how to enjoy their life. In the last day, we had a farewell party. And P.As performed many things. The coolest performance was the band performance. 5 boy P.As were members of the band and their performance was fantastic. While I watch their performance, I felt many things. I was surprised. Because P.As study well, of course, and they know how to enjoy their life. What a fantastic guys… I was really surprised.

 Well… From our P.As I learned that what is happy, fun, exciting and successful life. Also I learned the most important thing. It is the way to enjoy my life. I want to be a successful person like our P.As. If somebody ask me, “Who is your role model?” Then I would like to answer, “My role models are P.As from GLPS 18^th. They taught me how to enjoy my life and how to be a successful person.” Also from 27 days in GLPS, I had another goal. It is to be a student of KMLA. I want to learn how to be a successful person and how to enjoy my life. Thanks to everybody who helped me in GLPS. My friends, teachers, and P.As, T.As, thank you very much!!!   *I will miss you a lot*

Chain writing: My friend can be anyone!!

 There was a mouse which lived in a old house. His name was John. Unfortunately, he was always alone, because he was too ugly!! But John didn't know that. One day John went to outside to walk around. He tried to say hello to a butterfly, but she flew away. Then he tried to say hello to a ladybug. She also flew away!! John was really sad, however e didn't know why others avoid him. So John walked and walked. Then suddenly, he saw a huge wall. But it wasn't a normal wall. It was shining and slick. And there was a one mouse standing in front of the wall. John saw him and screamed loudly. Then the mouse screamed, too!! John was surprised so couldn't say anything for a few minutes. After a few minutes he asked to the mouse "What is your name?" But the mouse didn't say anything. But John was happy. Because the mouse was the 1st animal who didn't avoid him. So John keel ask the mouse his name. But the mouse never answered. Because it was John, which was referenced by a huge mirror. But John didn't know that. So John decided to call the mouse James. And asked James, "May I be your friend?" But James didn't answer. Then John said "Okay, from now, we are friends." After that day John became the friend with James. John always told funny stories to James. And John shared some cheese and crops with James. When John couldn't go to the mirror, he always prayed to god.

 One day, John was talking to James, but suddenly, a cat tried to attack John. John was scared, however he thought that he should protect his friend, James. The cat tried to attack John!!! At that time, a huge mirror reflect the sunlight and make a powerful light. The cat was surprised, so she ran away. John was surprised about James's power, and like him much more than before.

 After John met James, he always smiled and laughed. Before he met James, he was always sad or depressed. So a dog thought it was strange, so he asked Jame, "Do you have something good? Why are you laughing?" And John answered, "I made a goo friend! He always listened to my story carefully." Then the dog asked, "Who are your friend? Can I met him?" So John said, " Okay. Let's o to see my friend tomorrow." So the next morning, the dog and the John went in front of the huge mirror. Then John said, "This is my friend James." And pointed at the mirror. The dog said, "Ha ha..Boy it's not a living thing. It's just you!! This is just a mirror!!" John was shocked. He couldn't believe it!! So he cried all day long. While he slept, he heard some strange voice. It was the voice of god. God said, "John, don't cry. Your friend can be anyone. If you think someone is nice, you can be a their friend." In the morning John thought carefully. And finally he thought that James is a nice friend. So John decided to be a nice friend to James. He decided that friend can be anyone or anything that he thinks nice. So still John and James are good friends!!"
                                                                                                                              

Dear Ice cream

Dear, Ice cream

Hello? Long time no seen. Do you know how much I love to eat you? I really love to eat you. When I try to eat you, you always welcome me with cool and sweet smell. It makes me feel happy. And when I eat you, you are really soft and sweet. When you melt in my mouth, it makes me really really cool and happy. Even sometimes you make me comfortable.

 I especially like you when you are with a chocolate syrup. You are really cool, and sweet. You change your taste every time. Sometimes strawberry, vanilla, and even taste of fruits! So I think it's really fun and also make me interesting. I can see new image of you everyday!

 Not only in hot summer, but also in cold winter I meet you. Because you are so delicious. Strangely, I'm more happy when I meet you in winter than I meet you in summer. Even if it's too cold in winter I really want to eat you. You make me feel like I'm in a North Pole. But I can not live without you. :)

 However, you sometimes make me sick. If I eat you too fast, I have a headache. And if I eat you too much, I have a stomachache. So I should eat only 1 of you in one day. Also if I eat you too much, I can get a weight.ㅠㅜ So I'm sad that I can not  eat you as much as I want.

 Anyway, I wish I meet you soon. I want you to spread chocolate syrup on yourself when I meet you. Good-bye ice cream~~

Reflective essay: Spring

 Hello everyone? My name is Na in Park. Today I'm going to talk about a lesson that we can learn from a video named 'Spring'. I will talk about the story of video. There is a one boy in a temple. He tied frog, fish, snake with rock for fun. A priest saw that and he tied rock with a boy and said, " You should save fish,frog, and snake that you tied with rock. But if one of them died, you will be tied to the rock forever. So the boy found them, but fish and snake were dead. Then now, what lesson can you learn from this video? I think priest was trying to teach that we should take responsibility with the work which we do.

 I had a similar experience. Not similar with the action that the boy did, but I get similar lesson from my experience. Let me talk about it now. I think it happened when I was in 5th grade. I was preparing for our school party and our flute class was preparing a song. But not all students didn't practice a lot. But! School party came. Our performance was not prepared at all!! However, we should go on the stage and perform. Of course, it was terrible. Out sound was not same and sometimes we forgot out song! So we were really disappointed and regretted about not practicing. I was really embarassed because all the student in school and even teachers saw the performance. After that I concentrated on every performances that I had to do. But I can not concentrate on my study well.:( So I will try to focus on everything that I'm going to do.

 I learned and felt a lot from the video and my experience. From the video, I learned that we should take responsibility for the work which we did. And from my experience, I learned that, we should take responsibility for the work that we will do. So as a result, I learned that, we should take responsibility about everything about us. So! I will think about my responsibility first before I do something. :) Thank you very much for reading my reflective essay.*^^*

About Joseph Kony

Hello everyone? Today I want you talk about Joseph Kony.  Joseph Kony is a leader of his army, LRA. LRA is mostly made by 13~18 aged children. Kony and other active members of LRA kidnapped many children and make them to fight or to be a sex slaves. And treat children very cruely. LRA was active in Uganda, but they left Uganda in 2006, because U.S government is trying to find Kony and LRA. But most people don't know who is Joseph Kony, so many people are trying to make Joseph Kony famous by making a video named 'Kony 2012.' I strongly agree to make Kony famous, but some people do not. So I will provide 2 reasons to support my argument.


 First, if Kony becomes famous it's easy to find him. Do you know why it's difficult to find Kony? It's because most people don't know about Kony. But what if everyone all over the     world knows Joseph Kony? Government will be able to get a lot of information about Joseph Kony. And if becomes easier to find Kony. According to my research from the Internet, U.S government can not get information even where Kony is. Also almost 90% of people don't know who is Joseph Kony. So we should make Kony famous and stop him as soon as possible. We should spread the video 'Kony 2012' and make Kony famous. It's my first reason why I strongly agree to make Kony famous.

 Second, we should protect the children who are kidnapped by Joseph Kony and working in LRA. This is the most important thing that we should do. Over 30 thousand children were kidnapped by Kony and forced to fight in LRA. But if children do not listen to Kony, he kills children or give them cruel punishment. Such as cutting their nose, mouth, ears and so on. Joseph Kony take away children's dream from them. Moreover, Kony and LRA take many other things from children. He takes friends and family from them. So one oy who was kidnapped by Kony says, he wants to die because he wants to meet his brother who ws killed by Kony, and he doesn't have any dream because of Kony. It's really cruel for children to take their dream and family. They can not think about their future because of Kony, LRA. We should protect our children and stop Kony to make children like them.

I think make Joseph Kony famous is good, but some people think making Kony famous is not good. Because they thinke if Kony becomes famous. he can do more bad things to children. But I don’t think so. Even if Kony has his own army he will be afraid if all the people around the world try to find him. I will say one more time. We should STOP Joseph Kony by making him famous. We should rescue the children who are suffering from Kony. Children should have their dreams and think about their happy future. If there are some people who don’t know about Joseph Kony, please tell them Joseph Kony is really bad guy who take dream and future from children, and we should stop him as soon as possible.
